When Schools Will Start Sales Of Post UTME Form

Normally, Sales of Post Utme form begins few weeks after conclusion of Jamb CBT (computer based test) exam, after the exam, Schools open their student portal for Post Utme Registration, this usually takes place within the Month of August, Although some schools release their Form before this month.
Some private schools release their forms late, while some release theirs early but will have a long registration window (i.e, registration spanning for more than two months), Schools like Uniben, UI, ABU, release their forms for not more than 4weeks

But for this year 2020, this is going to be totally different because of the current global pandemic (Covid 19), all admission processing for 2020/2021 can only start when the Pandemic dies down. which means the real question is, when will the Pandemic be over

When Will Post Utme Exam Start?

Post UTM Exam is totally different from the sales of Post UTME form, the exam can only start after the sales of form has ended, most times, the Exam starts at the early quarters of the year, but as I pointed out before now, it will be different this year due to the current Covid 19 Pandemic.

So If the Pandemic is subside as from the month of June, then the exam should start as from August / September, so you will be given about a month or two to prepare after your Post Utme registration.

How much Is Post Utme form?

In 2018, the federal government of Nigeria issued a warning to all tertiary institutions in Nigeria (University, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) not to charge above than N2,000 for Post-UTME. The minister of Education said and I quote

I endorsed that any institution which is interested in conducting any form of Post-UTME screening could do so, but that the gross charge for the screening should not be more than N2,000.

 He further warned saying…

Once again, let me caution heads of tertiary institutions that it would not be tolerated for any institution to charge any fee beyond the approved two thousand Naira (N2,000). Firmer sanctions than those of last session shall be applied to cases of violation

Since 2018 till date, Post Utme form has been sold within this range, hopefully, this trend would continue in 2020.
